USA Strategies Inc, Digital was created in response to the explosive growth and needs of our traditional customers in the digital website marketing world with our strategic online marketing, content creation, web design development, maintenance, SEO/SEM, advertising and domain management offerings. With a comprehensive staff whose business backgrounds range from strategic planning, competitive analysis, online marketing, copywriting, web programming and graphic design, we are ready to create and maintain the latest in business internet solutions.

USA Strategies, Inc, our parent division, was founded over twenty-five years ago to address the marketing and communications needs of technology intensive clients. Bringing the experience of marketing communications along with a staff of a technical background, the firm has served major corporations with solutions to complex marketing problems. USA has worked internationally for major U.S. corporations in the high technology and publishing industries.   In the early 1980’s it expanded into Europe with full partner offices in England and Germany. In the early 1990’s, USA Strategies formed a partnership with EMG in the Netherlands.

USA Strategies Inc, Digital uses the "Basecamp" project management system which allows one central database for all project managers at our company and yours to manage multiple projects, priorities, file postings, revisions, e-mail reminders, deadlines and any other needs that require the collaboration of multiple individuals. This secure password protected website can be accessed 24x7 from any computer with internet access. The "Basecamp" project management was implemented to streamline communications between all parties and offers an added offsite backup to avoid any unforeseen technical or physical disaster (fire, theft) that would delay or preempt any ongoing projects.

Patrick Yanahan - Managing Partner (B)

Patrick is responsible for all aspects of customer development, marketing, project management and implementation of strategic digital programs for our customer base. Prior to joining USA Strategies, Inc Digital 5 years ago, Patrick spent over a decade as a field sales and marketing representative in the electronics and technology industry working with purchasing, mechanical and electrical engineering departments to specify and promote electronic products. Patrick holds a BA in Communications from Elmhurst College and is currently working on his M.B.A. 

Richard Engling, Lead Marketing Copywriter (B)

Richard has worked as lead digital content copywriter in marketing communications for many years now. His assignments have ranged from campaign concepts, corporate communications, direct mail, press releases, sales aids and presentations, speeches, demonstration videos, case histories, articles, technical backgrounders, email campaigns, web content, complete web sites, and special advertising supplements.

Of particular value to our customers,  Richard has the ability to quickly understand the design, operation and user benefits of new industrial equipment and technology products. He is experienced in translating the language of engineers into language that can be understood and appreciated by prospective customers—whether the target audience is technical or non‑technical in background. His clients have included manufacturers of factory automation hardware and software, manufacturing systems, plastics materials and equipment, electronic components and equipment, scientific instruments, and other industrial products and services.

Richard is often included in clients’ business strategy reviews and is a regular member of the development and presentation teams for our company. He frequently provides project management services. Richard holds degrees fromIndiana University, Bloomington, Indiana           M.A. and Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois   B.S.E.

Joyce Winer- Written Communications (B)

Joyce develops brand positioning, marketing, advertising and fundraising communications for businesses, associations and non-profit organizations.

At J. Walter Thompson in Chicago, she led a group in creating branding messages, and integrating those messages in print, TV, and radio advertising of new and existing products for Kraft Foods, Sears, Gillette and Marsh & McLennan.  At Ted Bates in New York, she developed product re-branding initiatives and advertising for Colgate-Palmolive and Playtex. 

She has created key messaging and communications materials to increase awareness and revenue for numerous organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA) .

With USA Strategies Digital, Joyce has served has served as creative director to develop branding and communications for various companies in the engineering and technology industries. Joyce has received numerous awards for her work.  Joyce has a B.S. in communications from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.  She has holds an M.F.A. from the University of Iowa Writer’s Workshop

Joan Esarey- Project Manager (B)

Joan manages website development projects. She assists with initial assessments and planning for websites, coordinates project logistics, and communicates with developers, graphic artists, content editors, and testers to achieve a quality product.

Prior to her work with USA Strategies, Joan has five years of project management experience. She has managed multiple, concurrent, basic and applied research projects for ecological research laboratories and has served as qualitative data specialist and evaluator for technology education programs. She received her B.A. in Sociology from North Central College

Frank Filippi- Manager of Technology Development/Chief programmer (P)
Frank specializes in Web Design and Search Engine Optimization, bringing experience working with facilitating data requirements and analysis, code development and optimization, system and data management, along with automated and manual testing of mid-size to large sites. As the lead programmer, Frank has worked with clients in all stages of their web development cycle. He has created companies' first sites, provided search engine optimization, integrated the sites with back end systems, and implemented support systems to handle the website growth.

Frank has worked for over twenty years in the computer field. He has experience as project manager for two Web development firms prior to the working with USA Strategies, Inc. Frank holds a BA in accounting and computer science from North Central College.
 
Glenda Henderson-  HTML/CSS Designer, Project Manager, Senior SEO Analyst (P)
Glenda has been working with USA Strategies, Inc for the last five years. As a member of our team she has been responsible for organizing and managing our SEO and website development projects. She specializes in initial site evaluation and helps guide our team as we work to create a search engine friendly site your customers can find easily.

Prior to her work with us, Glenda worked in the field of education and computers. She graduated with a BA in Education from Indiana University and holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Education from the University of Illinois. Her interest in computers and education prompted her to acquire an additional 60 graduate hours beyond her Master's Degree.

Dimitri Paireli- Flash Developer and Technical Project Manager (P)

Dimitri's technical skill set includes experience with Flash Action Script, Flash Design, Java, Html related technologies, Delphi and PHP. Dimitri spent 3 years coding Flash Action Script movies for a British Company, as a Java developer he worked on a team in charge of developing part of a portal for BMW Software. He has used Hibernate (Database), Spring (Container), Struts (JSP - End user interface),and Saxon (XML Parsing). He has extensive experience with the implementation of CMS (Content Management System) packages.

His academic achievements include prizes at the International and National Olympiades in Mathematics and Informatics.

Joe O’Connor- Design Director (A)
Joe has practiced graphic design in the Chicago area for over twenty years. He has extensive experience as senior designer and vice president at a variety of design firms. He has been involved all aspects of running a design firm, including project management, pricing and presentations. Beside his studio experience, he has held design positions at the American Bar Association and the University of Illinois.

A member of the Society of Typographic Arts, the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Art Institute of Chicago and the American Center for Design, Joe earned a B.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois and completed graduate courses in Design Management at Northern Illinois University.

Peter Jurek – Multimedia Illustrator A

Peter has worked in the fields of marketing and art for eleven years in several capacities such as Medical Art Director, Animator, Multimedia Artist, and Marketing Coordinator. Working primarily as a Medical Illustrator by trade, Peter has also proven to be a viable asset to startup companies and publishers in developing styles for art related communications materials. Peter holds a MAMS in Biomedical Visualization from University of Illinois, Chicago as well as a BS in Marketing and a BA in Art from Illinois State University.
